As one of the first towns in Switzerland, St.Gallen decided
to follow the Reformation. With Joachim von Watt/Vadian (1484 – 1551) doctor and mayor of the town, St.Gallen had a humanist and reformer whose motivating energy for the changes within the church had a strong impact beyond the boundaries of the town.
On this tour you will discover interesting facts about the period of the reformation and you will see some of the remaining witnesses of that time.
