Lokremise St.Gallen

The Lokremise St.Gallen is more than 100 years old. With its transformation into a cultural centre in 2010, the facility entered a brand-new phase of life. This former maintenance depot for steam locomotives became an industrial wasteland at the end of the 1980s. Its potential as a cultural centre was discovered in 1999.

The premises now contain a cinema, a branch of the Theater St.Gallen, exhibition rooms for the Art Museum St.Gallen, and a restaurant.
