A significant place for the theater and cultural scene in St.Gallen

The theater "Parfin de Siècle" was founded in 1997 by the visionary artists Arnim Halter and Regine Weingart in St. Gallen. The two founders shared a passion for theater and the representation of stories that can capture the spirit of an era. This theater project was born to do just that: to present the stories of the fin de siècle, the turn of the century, in all their splendor and complexity. Shortly before the pandemic, Matthias Flückiger took over the "Parfin de Siècle" theater.
In 2022, it was decided that the turn of the century, the fin de siècle, was over. A new name was needed! Matthias Flückiger wanted to keep the French touch as a homage to the former name. Because the theater in St. Gallen is quite hidden and has to be found first, like a treasure, the term "Trouvaille" came up. The "trouvaille" means something like a lucky find or a valuable discovery: A significant place for the theater and cultural scene in St.Gallen - with plays, readings and music programs.
