Tonhalle

Tonhalle

The concerts of the St.Gallen Symphony Orchestra fill the auditorium with a magical atmosphere, exhilarating audiences. The Tonhalle is also a venue for cabaret and jazz, for banquets and meetings.

The St.Gallen Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest in Switzerland and performs in the most prominent concert hall in Eastern Switzerland: the large Art Nouveau auditorium in the Tonhalle concert hall. Symphony concerts and chamber music series by renowned composers are held here every season. The programme is supplemented by the Sonntags um 5 series (Sundays at 5), which also includes chamber music. Concerts for children and families round off the programme and give younger listeners their first taste of the world of classical music.
